Meet the 2019 Miracle Children representing Marshfield Children's Hospital

As one of 170 CMN Hospitals in North America and one of only four children’s hospitals in Wisconsin, Marshfield Children’s Hospital physicians and staff know that nothing is more important than the health and happiness of our youngest patients. They offer more than 30 pediatric specialties as well as Child Life and Expressive Therapies and other services.

Each year, children from northern and central Wisconsin are chosen locally to represent kids treated at Marshfield Children’s Hospital. This year, CMN Hospital’s Miracle Children Morgan, Michael, Amaya, Isaac and Noah each have their own story to share and one thing in common. Their stories are made possible because of support from people like you.

Meet Morgan Halls from Stanley

Since Morgan’s diagnosis of scoliosis with Sprengel deformity, which she refers to it as “bent bones.” Morgan is determined to live life to the fullest. Learn more about Morgan's story and how how this 11 year old never lets anything dampen her incredible spirit.

Meet Michael Bluell III from Wisconsin Rapids

When Michael was just two months old, he was diagnosed with Stage 4S neuroblastoma. Michael never stopped fighting, even when he spent six months in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Marshfield Children’s Hospital. Learn how this 7 year old boy doesn’t let anything slow him down, not even cancer. 

Meet Amaya Roberts from Stevens Point

Amaya was born weighing 1 pound, 14 ounces and spent 83 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Marshfield Children’s Hospital. Learn how Amaya has defied the odds and today is a healthy, kind-hearted and bright 6 year old.

Meet Isaac King from Rhinelander

After a visit to the family doctor Issac was rushed to Marshfield Children’s Hospital. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 5 years old. Isaac received specialized pediatric cancer care including chemotherapy, lifesaving blood transfusions and infection treatments. Learn more about this energetic, outgoing and brave 8 year old.

Meet Noah Eckelberg from Marshfield

Noah was born with spina bifida, a condition which causes the spinal cord to form incorrectly. He has undergone 19 surgeries at Marshfield Children’s Hospital and endured many hospital stays. Noah primarily uses a wheelchair, but he’s never let that stop him. Learn more about his story and how with grit, determination and kindness, anything is possible.
