There are many different ways to support the Marshfield Child Advocacy Center. Some volunteers get involved by sharing their time and talents at the Center or participate in an event, while others choose to contribute financially. Whatever your passion may be, we appreciate the support.
Volunteer opportunities
We are always looking for volunteers to help with child care during patient appointments, administrative tasks, support group preparation, prevention projects and volunteer recruitment. To be a volunteer, you must be willing to serve at least 15 hours, ideally in 2-hour blocks of time during the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You must also complete an application, get a background check, be up-to-date on immunizations, be interviewed and be at least 16 years old.
If you are interested, please contact us.
Make a donation
Our sustainability has been made possible by the generosity of numerous local and regional businesses, agencies and individual benefactors. The Marshfield Child Advocacy Center has been the direct beneficiary from individual donors as well as community fundraisers including Fore the Kids and Be a Hero 5K. These contributions are so important to the quality of the programs offered. Using these funds, we have made major equipment purchases and upgrades; provide daily necessities such as clothing, toiletries and educational materials to the children and caregivers who come to the center; and also allow for establishing new programming like support groups for non-offending caregivers.
